A little bit about me:This is my seventh year at NWMS teaching sixth grade math and AIMM. I can't believe it but it's my 23rd year of teaching. My how those years do fly! I am a proud graduate of UNCG (Go Spartans!) and earned my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Mathematics in November of 2008. I have been married to my wonderful husband Jay for 16 years and we have a 7 year old son named Benjamin who is a second grader at Colfax Elementary. He keeps us busy and on our toes! We live in High Point with our two beagles Daisy and Bendi.
Wiki Purpose:We will be using this wiki to collaborate on class activities and to share information between classmates and parents.
Attached are the syllabi for each of my math classes. A copy of the syllabus will be kept in your child's math notebook for easy and frequent reference.
